Is the Vatican investigation and Reform just a matter of tinkering with the engine that Maciel built?

Cardinal De Paolis ordains 61 Legionaries as priests in St Paul Outside the Walls

For those of us who are out, who have seen through the sham, these ordinations cause us further confusion...

What about the priest who recently left in good faith? Did they betray their Legionary vocation? Did they just jump ship? Should they have overcome their doubts and stayed in the Legion?

Is there a double message from Church authorities?

"We are investigating and reforming something that is basically OK. No need to worry. All is well. Carry on, business as usual: recruit, train, fundraise..."

Where does the investigation into the Legion of Christ stand. Is it OK? Apparently Cardinal De Paolis thinks so. What about all our doubts, criticisms about the Legion methodology of religious and priestly foundation?
What about their deeply flawed constititution?

Is this the bottom line: no more criticisms of the Legion and Regnum?
Are these 61 men in good shape with their religious and priestly foundation? How long will they stay in the Legion?
